Venom have one of the strongest reputations in the skate industry for their urethane bushings. They are are considered the highest quality bushings by experienced downhill riders and Longboard enthusiasts. If you have not tried Venom on your Racing board or Cruising longboard, you have not yet felt a rebounding truck. These bushings compress and release to perfect center.
Choose your durometer carefully. Don't just purchase the bushing because the color matches your skateboard. You should consider your weight and board shape carefully before ordering your bushings.
The “keg” bushing is designed to give more progressive resistance and rebound than a barrel, but without the hard stop of a normal stepped bushing. The curved side profile provides extra meat while still fitting most bushing seats. Ideal for use on the board-side, especially if you’re looking for a softer-feeling setup without losing stability. Only compatible with Tall-bushing trucks.

Formula: HPF
High Performance (HPF): The original Venom High Performance formula is the most trusted and tested formula used by the world’s top downhill racers. A perfect blend of rebound and dampening to keep you stable at high speeds and hook up with control out of corners. The KEG only comes in TALL and only in HPF.
Bushings can get pretty complicated when it comes to shapes, durometers (softness/hardness), and Formulas, but to keep things simple: heavier riders should choose a harder bushing and light weight riders should choose a softer bushing.
Some skaters choose bushing by body weight, others by board shape, riding style, and personal preference. Below is a chart that may help choosing based on body weight.
