Venom have one of the strongest reputations in the skate industry for their urethane bushings.
Venom Bushing Street Packs is the only Venom bushing pack to contain 4 conical bushings, designed to fit in conventional street trucks like Independent (Indys), Thunder, Ace, Venture, Tensor etc.
Conical bushings turn easier than barrel bushings. Thunder come with a double conical bushing setup while Independent and Ace come with a barrel / cone setup.
Grab a set of SHR Street bushings if you want a quick and responsive setup perfect for cutting lines in pools, or a set of HPF’s if you’re looking for more stability in your around-town cruiser setup. They also come in a handy reusable tube with a stickers!
Formulas:
High Performance (HPF): The original Venom High Performance formula is the most trusted and tested formula used by the world’s top downhill racers. A perfect blend of rebound and dampening to keep you stable at high speeds and hook up with control out of corners.
Bushings can get pretty complicated when it comes to shapes, durometers (softness/hardness), and Formulas, but to keep things simple: heavier riders should choose a harder bushing and light weight riders should choose a softer bushing.
Some skaters choose bushing by body weight, others by board shape, riding style, and personal preference. Below is a chart that may help choosing based on body weight.
50-100lbs (22-45kg) 73-80a Durometer
75-125lbs (34-56kg) 78-82a Durometer
100-145lbs (45-65kg) 80-85a Durometer

HPF vs SHR:
High Performance Formula (HPF)is Venom's original Bushing, the best for stability, excellent rebound, versatile and great for all types of skating. Later they added a a Super High Rebound (SHR Formula) which uses a different chemical technique to raise the rebound. HPF should feel more responsive than SHR.
Some skaters will prefer HPF, while others might prefer SHR. Some won't even be able to tell a difference. But:
SHR is great for casual cruising, riding around town, or if you want to turn really fast like on a slalom board, pumping setup, or a surf skate. The extra rebound helps you get from edge to edge faster without any delay. The drawback of SHR is if you're going extremely fast (think Downhill)and you're trying to hold a turn for a long period of time or stand up slide (Freeride) you may feel the bushing pushing back on you making it feel less stable than the High Performance Formula.
HPF is still very high rebound but just less than SHR.
It's OKAY to mix and match HPF and SHR. For example using a HPF boardside and a SHR roadside! Some skaters swear by this combo!
