Venom have one of the strongest reputations in the skate industry for their urethane bushings
These are TALL bushings designed to fit tall-bushing-compatible trucks. They are not the same height as standard Barrel bushings. Due to their increased height they have a wider range of motion and provide more Lean.
Designed to fit most Precision CNC Trucks and a variety of Forged and Cast trucks including: Rogue, Ronin, Bear Kodiak, Caliber 44 with removable shim, Arsenal, and others.
TALL bushings may work on the roadside of a non-tall-bushing-compatible truck if the kingpin is long enough and has enough threading to tighten it down. However, adding a TALL bushing to the boardside will usually not fit (it will change the angle and most likely need tightened down a lot, deforming it and cause your truck to perform poorly).
Dimensions:
TALL Barrels: Height: ~18.95mm
Outer Diameter: ~24.90mm*
Inner Diameter: ~9.15mm*
Standard Barrels:
Height: ~15.53mm
Outer Diameter: ~25.10mm*
Inner Diameter: ~9.34mm*
*The outer and inner diameter measurements should be the same for both standard and tall bushings but due to manufacturing process there will always be some differences.
Formulas:
Super High Rebound (SHR): We started working on SHR in March of 2009. There seemed to be a demand for an insanely high rebound bushing, but there just didn't seem to be any good ones on the horizon. The problem was, the other super springy bushings on the market were only super springy. No damping. Cars have springs AND shocks for a reason! All the rebound with no control has a great effect on stability and adjust-ability. If you try to tighten your trucks with no damping, a lot of the time the bushing just squishes, and you get no more tension.
High Performance (HPF): The original Venom High Performance formula is the most trusted and tested formula used by the world’s top downhill racers. A perfect blend of rebound and dampening to keep you stable at high speeds and hook up with control out of corners.
Bushings can get pretty complicated when it comes to shapes, durometers (softness/hardness), and Formulas, but to keep things simple: heavier riders should choose a harder bushing and light weight riders should choose a softer bushing.
Some skaters choose bushing by body weight, others by board shape, riding style, and personal preference. Below is a chart that may help choosing based on body weight.
50-100lbs (22-45kg) 73-80a Durometer
75-125lbs (34-56kg) 78-82a Durometer
100-145lbs (45-65kg) 80-85a Durometer
125-175lbs (56-79kg) 80-87a Durometer
145-195lbs (65-88kg) 82-90a Durometer
175-220lbs (79-99kg) 85-93a Durometer
200-250lbs (99-113kg) 90-93a Duromter
225lbs+ (113kg+) 90-97a Durometer
HPF vs SHR:
High Performance Formula (HPF)is Venom's original Bushing, the best for stability, excellent rebound, versatile and great for all types of skating. Later they added a a Super High Rebound (SHR Formula) which uses a different chemical technique to raise the rebound. SHR should feel more responsive than HPF.
Some skaters will prefer HPF, while others might prefer SHR. Some won't even be able to tell a difference. But:
SHR is great for casual cruising, riding around town, or if you want to turn really fast like on a slalom board, pumping setup, or a surf skate. The extra rebound helps you get from edge to edge faster without any delay. The drawback of SHR is if you're going extremely fast (think Downhill)and you're trying to hold a turn for a long period of time or stand up slide (Freeride) you may feel the bushing pushing back on you making it feel less stable than the High Performance Formula.
HPF is still very high rebound but just less than SHR.
It's OKAY to mix and match HPF and SHR. For example using a HPF boardside and a SHR roadside! Some skaters swear by this combo!

Two bushings per pack.
Quantity '1' = 2 bushings; enough for one truck.
Buy quantity '2' for your whole board!
NOTE: White and Grey color bushings may come with a variation in the color. White bushings are affected by light that might cause discoloration. Also from time to time different batches can have slight differences in color. This will not effect performance.
